Founded in 1998 by Belinda Palmer, Studio Lotus is one of Atlanta's most established Pilates studios. It is located at the triangle of Druid Hills, the Emory campus and Morningside on Zonolite Road in the Floataway Complex. With more than 3,200 square feet, Studio Lotus has eight Reformers, five Wall Units, three Chairs and a separate room for group classes.
Purchased by Danielle and Davidson Reid in early 2004, Studio Lotus was the first Power Pilates Affiliate Training Center. Now boasting more than 50 Affiliate Training Centers worldwide, Power Pilates is an industry leader that has set the international standard for Pilates teacher training and education.

In February 2006, Studio Lotus joined forces with Atlanta Ballet’s Centre for Dance Education and opened Studio Lotus at Atlanta Ballet. It is located within the Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education, a beautiful 7,000 square foot facility at the corner of Windy Hill and Powers Ferry in Marietta. Studio Lotus at Atlanta Ballet is a fully equipped Pilates studio offering Pilates sessions on the apparatus, as well as Pilates group mat classes. It is a Power Pilates Participating Training Center.
