What are Kettlebells?
Kettlebells are a recently re-discovered traditional Russian exercise. Typically made of cast iron in the shape of a small bowling ball with a U-shaped handle, they come in a variety of weights for both men and women. When swung away from the body using natural momentum, Kettlebells provide a low-impact, total body workout in under an hour. Similar to picking up a child, placing a heavy bag up onto your shoulder, or swinging a baseball bat – these movements exist in everyday life. In this way, Kettlebell training is a great example of functional exercise that enhances your daily activities.
What results can I expect?
Kettlebell training is the ultimate workout as it develops a combination of strength and cardiovascular fitness that will burn fat and sculpt muscle at the same time. Power, strength, stamina and stability will all improve.
Who is this class appropriate for?
Kettlebell group training may be practiced by those who are physically healthy and enjoy a demanding workout.

Kettlebell Beginner Workshop
Sundays | 10:00-11:30am
This class is strongly recommended for first timers interested in participating in the regular Kettlebell group classes. This 90 minute workshop will cover basic Kettlebell exercises, as well as proper form and technique.If you are knowledgeable in Kettlebell basics you do not need to participate in the Beginner Workshop, but are more than welcome to.
